Аннотация
Представлены предварительные результаты международного проекта, направленного на изучение потенциального влияния партисипаторного подхода на сокращение бедности в Нижегородском регионе. Посредством сопоставления качественных интервью с получателями социальных пособий и со специалистами службы социальной защиты населения исследуются различные объяснения и репрезентации бедности и ее причины. Дополняя западную критику партисипаторных подходов как зачастую скорее наказующих и осуждающих автор призывает к более глубокому пониманию жизненной реальности, последствий бедности и развитию подлинных отношений доверия и взаимности как основания для эффективного применения партисипаторных подходов и в исследовании, и в практике.
